First Day in Madrid!

The day is finally here! After many months of preparation we arrived in Madrid at 7 am this morning. SLU officials greeted us and put us into a taxi which was quite a sight. 3 girls, 5 huge suitcases, and 3 large backpacks were crammed into a tiny car(the bags had more space than we did and jennifer sat on my lap, it was funny). We arrived at our Señoras, Mari Carman Pedraza and were warmly greeted! Mari Carman claims to only know spanish(which is unlikely because with my spanish skills she would never understand without knowing at least some english). We met her entire family and got settled in. Tomorrow begins orientation! I can't wait to see what this semester holds!
